She regularly represents clients before the Mental Health Tribunal, Manager’s hearings, Nearest Relative displacement applications, aftercare arrangements and complex forensic cases.
Mental Capacity Law
Sarah has a caseload of complex Court of Protection matters. Sarah represents those that lack capacity and their family members. Sarah receives instructions from RPRs, IMCA’s and the Official Solicitor.
University of Exeter
Sarah is currently the co programme lead on the Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Law at the University of Exeter. She also regularly delivers training in Mental Health Law.
Background
Sarah started her career practicing as a Criminal Courts Advocate, with extensive case experience including Murder allegations, large and complex drug conspiracies and a Naval Officer accused of grounding a submarine. Sarah is an experienced and forthright advocate who will defend your position vigorously whilst also dealing with you on a compassionate and personal level throughout your entire case proceedings.
